Excursion schedule
Flight to the "Danube Pearl". Upon arrival we will meet our guide and start our tour in beautiful Budapest. We will see the Square of Heroes with the monument of the Millennium, the cathedral of Agios Stefanos and we will admire the well-preserved buildings on the Avenue of the Republic. Continuing we will see the massive baroque Parliament and pass the Buddha from the Bridge of Lions. On the hill of Psarades we will see the castles and the church of Matias, in which the coronations of the kings take place.On the hill of Gellert, from where we will have a panoramic view of the Buddha and Pest, we will see the Statue of Liberty and the castle, the Citadel. Then check in at our hotel.
Breakfast and day off. You can visit the thermal baths of the city, a must activity for every visitor! Stroll to the flea markets. Look for beautiful porcelain and get its famous wines. And do not miss a cruise on the Danube, it is the best way to see the imposing Parliament. For the evening we suggest you to have fun in the area Gozsdu Passage, in the center of the city, a beautiful gallery for ‘all tastes’.
For today we suggest an excursion to the Danube Turn and the beautiful villages on its shores. Together with our guide we will visit Sentendre or otherwise known as Agios Andreas, known as the Village of Artists and this is because here you will find a variety of museums, galleries and workshops of fine arts. We will stop at the Museum of the Sculptor Kovacs and the Orthodox Church of 1752. Next we will visit Estergom, the first capital of the Hungarian state. The main attraction of the village is the Basilica of Estergom, built on the hill of the Castle and is the largest church in the country, with its dome being 71.5 meters high. Return to Budapest in the afternoon.
After breakfast free time. Then transfer to the airport and return flight.
