Gathering and departure for Belgrade, with stops for coffee and food. Arrival, check-in at the hotel and first acquaintance with the city.
Breakfast and on our tour of the Serbian capital, we will see the Kalemegdan fortress, with its Renaissance towers, loopholes and fortifications. Then, in the historic center of the city we will see many and impressive buildings of the 19th century such as the National Museum, while along the Avenue of the Revolutions we will see the Parliament, a classic example of Balkan architecture. We continue North for the border of Hungary. In the afternoon arrival in the capital Budapest. Accommodation at the hotel, and first acquaintance with the city.
After breakfast we start our tour. We will see the Heroes' Square, with the monument of the Millennium, the Cathedral of Agios Stefanos, while on the Avenue of the Republic we will admire many well-preserved buildings. Continuing, we will see the massive, baroque-style Parliament and cross the Buddha from the Lions Bridge. On the hill of the fishermen we will see the castles and the church of Matias in which the coronations of the kings took place. We continue north to the border with Slovakia, which with an intermediate stop in the picturesque town of Banska Bynstrica, we will cross from one end to the other to enter Poland and end up in Krakow. Arrival at the hotel and settlement.
Breakfast and tour of Krakow, capital of Poland in the medieval period between 1038–1569. Without significant damage in the 2 world wars today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Almost all of its sights can be seen on foot as most of the old town streets are pedestrian. While it is full of historic buildings, it is also a modern city full of life. After the tour, departure for an excursion to the 700-year-old salt mines in Vielitska, 15 km. southeast of Krakow which are an amazing, underground experience with arcades in which there are churches carved on salt, small phosphorescent lakes and wooden columns of arcades which are true carpentry works of the old times. Return to Krakow.
Breakfast and departure for Auschwitz where we will visit the Auschwitz / Birkenau Museum, Nazi Germany's largest concentration camp, where more than 1 million people died outrageously during World War II. We continue our journey to the North with a destination in the capital Warsaw. Settlement and free time.
Breakfast and tour of the most important sights of the historic city surrounded by old fortifications. We will see, among others, the main square of the Agora, the Royal Palace, a very good example of baroque architecture, which now functions as a Museum and seat of the Seim Parliament, the palace and the square of Plac Zamkowy Castle, from the few places saved by Nazi momentum, the monumental Palace of Culture and Science - Stalin's gift to Warsaw, the Vielky Grand Theater, which houses opera and ballet, the baroque Krasinski Palace, considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, the Royal Gardens, and the Royal Gardens, Ghetto,the house of Maria Kozlovka Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize, the statue of Frederic Chopin, which adorns the gardens of Lazyensky Palace. In the free afternoon, visit the recently renovated Bracia Jablowcky Department Store, with many modern brands, or enjoy your coffee at the famous Brick Coffee or the popular Emil Wedel patisserie. You can also walk along the west bank of the Vistula River, in the area of Vasiliki Odos.
Breakfast and departure for the beautiful capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Slovakia has been inhabited by Slovaks for many hundreds of years. The Huns conquered Slovakia as did the Hungarians later, who remained in the country for about 1000 years, and annexed it to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. In 1918 they formed the state of Czechoslovakia with the Czechs. The Slovaks pushed for greater autonomy, with the result that in January 1993 the Czech Republic and the Slovak confederation became two autonomous states. Gold has been the wealth of the country for many years.Until 1918 they made a golden duchy in Kremnitsa. A tour of the historic city center where we will see the castle, the cathedral, the theater, the opera and the magnificent market. Accommodation at the hotel.
Breakfast and departure in a southeastern direction to the Hungarian border to cross it and reach Serbia and Novi Sad, the capital of the province of Vojvodina. In our tour we will see a panoramic view of Petrovaradin Castle and Slobodan Square, the cathedral, the City Hall and we will have free time on the main pedestrian street. We continue to Belgrade.
